I'm so chuffed at the prospect of seeing Clarkey at IPL4. I'm sure the BCCI and the Indian public can't wait to see the old new pup on the block. The past 3 editions Michael found the IPL specious, and inimical to his Australian commitments. Mebbe now he's just a wiser lad, and it may be dawning on him that he may soon become specious to the Oz Twenty20 plans:-)
Btw, for all those naysayers and cofin carriers of the 'gentleman's game' who mourned Test Cricket's demise...this must be a resurrection. We're now going to see the 20 over version of ' how to build an innings', 'see out the new ball', 'the importance of singles' and other such revolutionary mantras that Clarke's new team's secret cricket advisor is known to profess.
I'm having goose( gander?) pimples just thinking about it. C'mon mate...the Kochi franchise is awaiting you..and that team also has multiple captains/managers/owners, just like the Aussie one...a match made in heaven, what? The mind boggles at the prospect of our 'right arm, over-the- boundary, occassionally fast medium ' hero, SreeSanth, and the 'Pup that never grew up', Michael Clarke, dancing in the aisles(err.. make that 'pitch') as Team Kochi waltz out in their green and tyrolean purple togas....along with their cheerleader, the oe and wonly Lola Kutty....
Get it on guys...:-))
